Grey, cool andannoyingly windy- its like October today. Why have they got it so wrong this week, changing the forecasts at the last second most days? Miggt have known Shropshire would just get cloudy rubbish!

Seems to be a reoccuring theme all month for us, 21c+ forecast and then suddenly last minute changes to muck, past a joke now, i'm sure the 12z will have the north sea mist swanning in for tomorrow

Geez, more cloudy dross oop North it sounds. Here it has been a pretty sunny and warm afternoon here with the sun appearing since about 12pm! It was quite hazy at times however and didn't become clearer till about 5pm but a lovely afternoon on the whole. Tomorrow looks excellent and time for another BBQ!

Really pleased with this summer. Yes this month hasn't been very exciting bar the first 2 or so days but its been very useable generally and that's all that matters to most with a busy schedule.

Don't worry guys the glooms spread back in from the North now after sunny skies thus far, looks quite dark/thundery actually but nothing on the radar.

Cloud is really thin here and the sun is breaking through easily. 24c.

What a brilliant day. The cloud never obscured the sun. Cloud is very well broken. 24c. Another brilliant day. Sorry Shropshire!

The sun properly came out again later this afternoon though turned surprisingly cool due to that Cheshire Gap breeze, 18/19c most of the day.

Rest of the week a bit uncertain for sunshine amounts, Friday potentially 23-25c widely across the region if that pesky front can keep cloudzilla away long enough.

Weekend looks fairly sunny and fresh now rather than the October esque misery the charts were showing before with the potential for things to warm up again into early next week, nice to see upgrades for once in what has been a disappointing month for here, though mostly due to the no mans land 17-19c days while down the road has been 22c+, it's all a very 'usable' month but certainly joining April 2011 in the Shropshire vs rest of the Midlands sunshine split.

Yep, looks dry but cooler for the weekend but still lots of warm sunshine. Just a mix of cloud and sun. Looking good into next week. This has to be the best 'useable' summer I have known of! So many dry days. Just 1 maybe 2 wet days all day as far as I can remember.

Sounds like huge differences between here and the North Midlands again then. Think the sun went for 5 mins here. There was more cloud this afternoon but it was just high based and the sun made no trouble of it. :D

Ahh it's well and truly back today! the joyous dark slate grey skies with no sign of brightness and that wonderful magic number, 17 degrees.

I'm guessing Blizzards is at 23c again by now  certainly looks like in true Midlands tradition Shropshire will be the region that doesn't brighten up today!

Annoyingly, its cloudy here today too. Pretty much the Whole West Midlands, East Wales and northern parts of the SW have struggled. 19c.
