WEATHER: Dry with sunny spells before turning cloudy this afternoon

 

Today's Lincolnshire weather forecast is for a dry day with sunny spells at first after the early mist patches have cleared.

But it will turn cloudier by this afternoon and the highest temperature will only touch 21C.

Not as drab today, mostly cloudy this afternoon but bright with occasional spells of sun, 20.5c, no shocks September's arriving with clear blue skies and warmth again this year, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday..and maybe Wednesday all looking cracking.

Yes the start of Next week looks promising But a week of two halves methinks!!! Looks like turning quite autumnal by the ending of next week ..BBOOOOO !!!!!!

But like you said "no shocks September's arriving"

 

But maybe come early next week with warm uppers and cool over night temps we might be looking at a foggy couple of nights.

Ive been very busy lately and had a long lie-in zZZZZ... Yes i did hear about it, But come early next week with light winds,cool over night temps and warm uppers

and yes the longer nights !!!! We just might be having abit of what you seen a couple of mornings ago

Not too shabby today. Sunny spells till 1pm. Rather cloudy till about 4 or 5pm then sunny spells since then and now clear spells into tonight. Warm.

Brightening up here now to woop, ended up with a low of 12c last night in the end, rather disappointing this weekend downgrading back to a cool cloudfest last minute though! 

Tomorrow in particular a fitting end to this month, 17c and stratomania :lol:

Cloudy, but getting brighter, and fairly warm. We've had quite a few nights recently with the temperature under 10C for several hours, leading to a heavy dew, making grass cutting very difficult!

Looks like plenty of sunny spells to me tomorrow. Sunday for ages had been a cloudier one. Meanwhile it's very warm and sunny today here rounding off a very respectable week.

Same old story here this afternoon ^^^   once again another day that adds to my main gripe about this month, 23/24c over Birmingham while 20c here!

 

Certainly not liking the way the charts are going today though regarding Monday/Tuesday, every run is pushing that high further and further south, going to end up a cloud fest as usual at this rate!

Geez, Telford aint looking pretty today. Its been a bit cloudier this afternoon but the sunshine was shining 90% of the time till mid afternoon today!

 

And yes we reached 24c today. :lol:

Had many single figure minimums here to, 9c last night in the end.

Today thus far somewhat sunnier than I was expecting considering the wind direction, more cloud moving in from the NW though now on a cool breeze, 15.4c at the mo.

Outlook remains very dry, Monday & Tuesday are my last days of the year to get some sun in so really hope it's not cloudzilla!

Almost 18c here with sunny spells. Got to about 11c last night but it was very warm before midnight. It was still 18c around 11pm.

Seriously what's the love with winter right now? Low pressure and northerly winds is just going to bring 14c, dullness and crap. Why not make the most if the warmth and be social in the sun and warmth. Worry about winter come late October.

Anyway it's very sunny so far here today. Warm.

Oh im sure for most if you could walk in through your front door with shorts and T shirts on and the next day walk out with hat and scarf on with sledge in hand and cut out all that cool damp dull crap most would for sure, But that would cut out all the anticipation and life would be quite boring for us weather heads

Bar the odd keen breeze, its fantastic outside today. Im doing paperwork out here today and its very warm, if not hot in the sun at 21c - seem to be one of the warmer spots in the country today. Any cloud is very thin and high based. Sun making no issue of it.

The sun did briefly make an appearance here to around 1pm, felt lovely and warm, perfect in fact! seemed to good to be true, of course it was as it's 16.8c!!! now with thick cloud and a surprisingly gusty westerly wind, satellite shows once again as soon as you exit Shropshire it's practically wall to wall sunshine

 

Also I knew I was not crazy regarding August haha!

Around 121 hours of sunshine in the end here (Average 175.6 hrs) meaning we ended up around 68.9% of the average, with most of those hours being after 5pm.

Haha unlucky. Unfortunately it has just recently clouded over here but still quite pleasant actually at 20c.

 

Unfortunately I think Mid Shropshire northwards has a climate much more akin to that of NW England in general. As soon as you move south and East of here then its more akin to S/SE England.
