Evening all. Lovely day here with unbroken sunshine, temperature reached 18.8c. Wind from the West at 5mph. Summer back for a few days at least (y)

It was a pleasant enough afternoon here but not as nice as it appears to have been on the South Coast. Seems my trips down there are a thing of the past but they were good while they lasted. Have a great weekend folks.

Probably still trying to work things out, and looking at the latest GFS run for hints, unfortunately the pub run is completely different to every other output today (surprise surprise)

Morning all

 

Grey in Brighton, but not thick grey as I can make out a faint outline of the moon through the cloud as I look south west out across the sea, and if I really look hard and use my imagination the grey has a hint of blue.  It's very mild.  Will the sun break through?  Doesn't look likely according to the forecast I just watched on BBC but I live in hope.

Morning all

 

another early rise here (working), 11.2oC out and dull due to the high but consistent cloud cover.  But am I bothered?  Nah! As long as it remains dry this weekend then all will be well, as tomorrow I am at a steam rally, camera at the ready, one more show to attend this year (rare breeds autumn show at the EoE show ground next month), then I shall be happily home bound during the cold months doing artwork as I await spring to return.

Buckets of glorious sunshine pouring over Sussex this morning and no excuse needed not to be up and out there. Light cloud isn't far away but if we all blow in the same direction, we might keep this for the rest of the day.

Yep, cloudy all day so far here too.

 

We should get some decent weather before it all breaks down after midweek, but maybe the best weather will be after this weekend?
