Just cracking 20.2°C here in Eastbourne and I might sneak out of the rest of today's work, wash/polish the car and go for a long run out before the evening really gets underway. Posted Image

Hello lovely peeps,

Been a thoroughly rotten September so far, but not today! Sun is shining here, a very welcome return. (Please ripen my tomatoes, thank you) Posted Image

Looking forward to something warmer and sunnier next week

Beautiful afternoon here in St Evenage. Sun shining, blue sky, 17c.  Daughter has baked cakes at school, hubby has made me a cup of tea.  Who could ask for anything more. :D

Hey Jan!  Welcome back.  We were on the verge of sending out a search party.  I am sorry to hear you have a rough start to Autumn and hope things pick up for you.  Enjoy the sunshine and I hope it sorts your toms out. :D

Afternoon all, lovely day it's been here when the early cloud cleared Posted Image

So looked at the models putting out their afternoon outputs

GFS/UKMO disagree at what happens in 3 days time.

By the way good luck John Pike on your forecasts tonight Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image

Hi Jan,

Great to see you posting again, as stated above, we were about to send search parties out for you. Thought you'd disappeared courtesy of the infamous Bromley Triangle or swallowed up by Chiselhurst, sorry Chislehurst Caves. Other members around the Region claim to have a Triangle but ours is of course the most mysterious and potent! Posted Image

Anyway, really good to see you back.

Regards,

Tom. Posted Image

Evening all. It been a lot better here today. After the doom and gloom lifted, we've had partly cloudy, and nice sunny skies. Temp here at the moment is 17c. Feels quite balmy really 😄.

@Steve C & MK I would be up for that, work permitting.

Have a great evening guys, laters...

hi all

fax time

Posted Image

tomorrow

this dying front looks a tad annoying

could cause some cloudcover and the odd very light shower

maybe brum area may see a little more rain but should not last to long

temps

Posted Image

still around 18-20 and maybe a shade higher if you keep the sun

wind very weak west to south west

mist may be an early issue again

Posted Image

sunday

dry and reasonably warm

maybe a big foggy on the south coasts and take a little while to shift

temps

Posted Image

18-22 degrees  all cloud dependant

Posted Image

monday

again dry and warm

high pressure with a southerly flow

mist and fog early rural and coastal areas clearing early am

temps

Posted Image

somewhere between 20-25 degrees

again all cloud related

so overall could be worse Posted ImagePosted Image

if these are correct and i find these quite accurate

with solar output dead as well

expect the jet to dive south around the 25th onwards

this would in my eyes make ecm fairly close

only my opinion at present Posted ImagePosted Image

thanks snowy

it is a confusing outlook but with that nao going negative it would give the jet a big southerly push

the most reliable way is the fax charts and should pick up the correct pattern by around tues-wednesday
