Oh mate! Bright blue flashes of lightning every 20 secs to my south come to daddy!!!

 

i can see them between 5 and 10 secs apart in the distance. heading this way but might just miss me

Yep the uncertainty has widened, with an armageddon looking 948hPa right up to a rather pleasant 1011hPa in the GEFS ensemble set.

 

Meanwhile GFS's ensemble take on it really isn't helpful, either

Although the dendogram does imply that, now, there is 40% agreement of the following (cluster 4),

Which, as you can see, puts the low to the west of Norway.

That is one immense squall line on radar wonder what the shelf cloud looks like

 

Yes indeed running through Oxon/into Berks and Hampshire. Somewhere will be pasted!

Wow I can see plenty of lightning on the S-SW horizon but there is no cloud yet!

Can see the squall line to my S thru to NW, lots of lightning all along!! Looks like a summer import

Me too...me too.....first real lightning show this year. Clear starry skies but it's like bonfire night on the horizon! Someone  west of me is getting a real treat tonight!

Thunder is soo loud here, right overhead. Pretty good light display aswell going on. Torrential rain just East of here now looks like Round two will peak to the East, dark red blobs and even white showing up.

Pretty impressive lightning and thunder here in Arborfield near Reading. The rain is intermittent at the moment , has been heavy at times over the last 15 - 20 minutes. Lost our satellite signal briefly.
