Hello gang

Quiet, still and absurdly mild here tonight. Not the hint of a storm, no rain, barely a breath of wind. If I hadn't seen the warning I would have relished the evening, but as it is I feel just a little disappointed. Daft really.

Wondering whether the hint of a giant storm on Monday will come true - we will be within a mile of the North Pembrokeshire coast so I will be well placed to describe it, if it comes to pass and if I can get online!

Gales are of course nothing new down that neck of the woods and we have been going there for more years than I should admit, but a fierce storm over and above the normal wildness would be something else.

AS

Friends elsewhere in the country reporting a massive thunderstorm. I am sure the Medway shiel will hold strong for anything coming this way.

Has been crazy humid today.

Light shower just gone through. Clear skies now, starry night but more lively downpours through early hours. Eyes to the SW. Goodnight all!

Saw a flash over the clouds in the direction of London: the beauty of living on a hill with no light pollution. Hope you guys down in London enjoy the show.

Do you currently live in Wivenhoe? If so you absolutely have light pollution. Posted Image
