I have seen my first fall of snow since 2010 imby. Wasn't up to much, about 15 mins of sleet to graupel, to proper flakes, back to graupel and now it's stopped. Some settled on the grass and rooftops, temp now at 0.6 from a high of 4.2 an hour ago!

That's scratched an itch for me!

Ronan could be getting buried later!, its a pity his snow will likely melt during the storm on Thursday.

As for Friday, we are back into the colder air and the latest GFS shows a nice snowy tough pushing South on Friday am.

Saturday then shows a low pressure system moving South in the Northerly flow which could give a more organised band of sleet and snow. Exciting times ahead.

Hammering it down now in Omagh. Good 2-3 inches. Thought it was never going to come!
