Looks like a beast of a snow storm is heading directly for the North west. Moving through N connaught at the minute. Looking real good!

Well done today to those who did well with the snow.

Saw my first snow of the winter today, had a heavy snow shower this morning which left a dusting which was all melted by lunchtime, then had a smaller snow shower during the afternoon. As regards my location well that was the best i thought i would get and indeed that was the case with the set up.

Max temp today 3.5c, currently clear, current temp -0.5c.

Looking at the radar and the showers really stacking up down the country. Making a bee line straight for the North west. Great times.

Sky has got that glowy orange look about it, you know the one that indicates snow :)

I seem to remember that Pom, once upon a time... Clear, cold and breezy here atm. Hope everyone is enjoying the snow!

We had the lightest of dusting here.

Really glad for the west. The east has done well at their expense over the past few years.

Now get out there and build snowmen, igloos and whatever you can.

Be creative and post your pics!

Quiet here on the eastern front lol, albeit bitterly cold. Love seeing the snow pics. Jealous but least somewhere is enjoying it. Hopefully something over this way at some point. Would love some heavy snow.

had trouble getting out of leopards town South Dublin just after 4 pm as everyone left offices early, although it was just two heavy showers it came down hard, car temp said 3 Celsius so although marginal it still stuck. Hope to see dusting in the am followed by storm in the pm, plenty of action

Rte weather indicating cold and showery in the West over the weekend, more dryer in the east. Showers mostly of sleet/snow from Thursday onwards

absolute blizzard here now, 4 inches of snow accumulating, kids getting excited thinking they have a day of school. that sounds good to me pom with regard to weather forecast.
