dont take as gospel its a narrow, volatile system that can shift very quickly. do not take as gospel till the time.

 

I still am predicting a non-event, sleet for most......

Few from today, 3ft deep drifts in places. Great spell of wintry weather!

Nice photos, how has places like Ambleside and Bowness done.

 

Will be kicking myself only moved away last year and that was where I last saw proper snow!!

Reports from Northern ireland suggest heavy rain in some parts, so there it is unlikely that low lying areas will see snow, however there are reports are very strong winds and thunderstorms.

Yes, although on it's Eastern Flank, it remains cold (See West Scotland)

looking forward to the rain spreading inland so you can all share the misery hahaha :p

 

in all seriousness though, those nmm could be wrong in it's distribution of where that snow will fall

 

temps are still very erratic, dp has dropped again to 0.7C so as long as the dp continues to dip down

we may still be in with a chance under the heavier stuff, but i would be surprised if that low missed us

To be honest if we get snow it would be a right bonus since it didn't develop til late and are pretty rare events. Still other chances in the days to come whatever happens.
