Pretty much :p

But dont you agree, for example Brighton to Kings Lynn, 3hours and over 160 miles in the car, for our little Island thats quite  extreme to be included in just the one region where conditions will vastly differ.

Yeah I guess so Steve but I think you could say the same in almost any area in the regionals, if you look at the extremes, then there are going to be big differences, don't you think?

Being originally from Sarf London, I love being in with you guys!

based on what Steve?........radar & modeling suggest otherwise

Agreed. Large sat echo moving south from Norwich and not diminishing, meanwhile 2m temp and dew point here super cold compared to recent past

I see but at the moment EA solo would be like a graveyard to be truthful. There's no snow apocalypse incoming or is there. Any-who Steve take note!

EW: @RGSweather Focus does seem to be to the South and West of Central London from 00:00 - 05:00 Tuesday.

:)

I was just replying to you saying it hadn't taken place for years, when in reality, it's been more often the case than not. No need for the ' ' It was only a comment.... Who made you king of thread decisions?

No it was not directed at what you said, read the latter part. I'm not King but I like to have a say. :diablo: Who made you the spokesperson? I've been in a few cat fights, them days are over. ;-)

I was annoyed with the max temperatures forecast on the BBC main forecast this morning. 6 degrees, really? Look East had a max of 2C. Correct for here, weather station maxed out at 1.7C. Bedford did get up to 3C. Looks like some precipitation inbound within the hour and even if not heavy will be 100 percent and settle.

I think I have shaken that curse off, actually Chelmsford has done rather well so far. Hopefully most of us will see the white stuff tonight.

Either that or I will go to the shop for a pint of milk.

Lucky you! It's -1C and completely clear here. Another miss, methinks. Hope you see something, though.

unfortunately our southeast forecast gave us NOTHING ! for the week in thanet :sorry: ,but dover gets some :)

I wouldn't worry too much about the local forecast. They really have no real inside track or confidence as to what will happen!!

They have sort of covered themselves by putting a few random snowflakes on the chart, but as to how much and where, well they (just like us) do not really know.

Certainly things could be interesting in the next two or three days the more to the wind direction veers from N to ENE.

Tonight. already discussed, I suspect there will be snow showers crossing the region, a distinct band cross the west of the region with the precipitation more scattered in the east. Temperatures between 0C and -3C.

Tomorrow

post-17424-0-80863300-1422906273_thumb.p

Light north to north east wind.

Showers clearing south during the day, just sunny spells and isolated snow showers pushing into coastal areas.

Temperatures

nmmuk-0-25-0.png?02-19

3-5C

Overnight

post-17424-0-89985700-1422906274_thumb.p

Gentle northerly wind

Clear to start, but showers will begin to push into the region again, these could be heavy with potential accumulations of snow in favoured inland locations. Temperatures - between 1C and -2C

Wednesday

post-17424-0-57441700-1422906276_thumb.p

Gentle north to north easterly wind.

Sunshine and showers, sleet near the coast, but snow inland.

Temperatures

nmmuk-0-49-0.png?02-19

Model saying 3-6C, dubious about it myself.

Overnight

post-17424-0-83549200-1422906277_thumb.p

Gentle north easterly wind

More showers pushing into the region as further disturbances move through.

Temperatures - between 1C and -2C

Thursday

post-17424-0-67341400-1422906280_thumb.p

Moderate east to north easterly wind

Sunshine and snow showers, the wind becoming increasingly bitter.

Temperatures - 2-4C

Fingers crossed we can get some decent accumulations out over the coming days.
