Well that squall line or whatever it was that just went through was incredible. Torrential rain coming down in sheets!, the street looked like a river. Very gusty winds too.

Popped outside for a quick cig 10mins ago and it was eerily quiet, soon as I shut the door the gales and rain have come lapping up against the window. RADAR looks colorful here aswell.

I made a quick video of this and you can actually hear things falling over and being blown around. The last hour has just been total carnage here...

Its been terrible here wind and rain, gardens flooded and its a big garden,its flooded the seeds weve planted,so god knows where those flowers will end up after this!

After a wild, windy night we now have heavy, blustery snow showers. Slight covering on the grass, temp 3.1C. 

Feels more like January than the last day of March!

It was terrible a few hours ago here, really nasty with snow, hailstones,rain and sleet and severe gales! Not seen owt like it before to be homest!

Impressive hailstone shower just now, lashing against the windows in the gusty winds.  After Saturday things should settle down. (fingers crossed)

This is the hail shower I caught when I take a bus home. I took them half-hour ago.

 

It actually covered some grass/pavements.
