What's going on here? Sunny on a Sunday? It's a miracle! :p

Really great weather, nonetheless, with the Solihull Cloud Shield keeping all the clouds away. Temperature nearing 20*C.

Hopefully, though, that Shropshire Cloud Shield will re-power up again. :good:

The parade of cumulus kept coming 1-3pm about 2 seconds sun out of two hours, glorious and sunny again generally 3-5 and then hazy/pleasant since, max of 18.9c so much fresher than yesterday, but considering Sunday's track record, the past two haven't been 'to bad' .

Lovely today. Anyone moaning about the occasionally fresh breeze or odd cloud patch may well consider a move to a desert maybe? Where 50C temperatures would pretty much crush you. Consider many of the other alternatives and grow some is my motto. Check out five day forecasts in the likes of Iceland too, amongst others LOL.

Get a grip ;-) it is the UK.

Just shows how complex the weather is ATM and how difficult all the models are dealing with it.

looking at yesterday except for the first few hrs it was a  glorious day for most in the Midlands :)

But for the 5 days leading up to Sunday everyday it was changing from Rain to Sunshine and then back to Rain and back to Sunshine :wallbash: glad in the end it turned out right for us.

All because the Jet is right over the top of us and as it's meandering from day to day, just 50 to 100 miles further north or south as we know can make a lot of difference.

Looking in the near future especially towards the end of the week..... Unsettled is the word!!! the 06Z GFS (BELOW) is showing a daisy chain of lows from Friday through to Monday.

Lets hope and fingers-crossed all this vanishes come the end of the forth coming week....I'm sure it will on the next run :D

BBC TV Weather forecast said this morning that we was going to have a "few showers late morning and was going to brighten up especially for the Midlands".

Well wrong!!! First never brighten up at all, and now it's raining :nonono: wouldn't be that bothered really expect i told the wife it was OK to put the washing out....Whoop's  :whistling:

Heavy drizzle here again just like last Tuesday, the summer just gets more depressing.

With the jet this far south over spain again we`re going to get nowhere fast.

I don't  know which charts you've looked at to come to that conclusion. To me it just looks like a benign day with scattered showers and sunny intervals.

In fairness to you the GFS 12z  is showing some moderate-heavy rain spreading up from the south on Friday; the Met Office are undecided on it though.

More junk from this miserable, frustrating month today. Drizzle and showers on and off with hardly any sunshine, seems to have been 18C day and night for weeks.

June doesnt seem half so bad now.
