Lots of sun since 12, more than for most of that "warm spell". Still cant lose that wind though.

Come on that simply isn't true. All the midlands had plenty of sun on 4 days this week.

A nice inversion here this morning, Temp 5c.

 

9;30am now and skys have cleared with bright sunshine, Temp 10c.

Monday and Friday yes, and Thursday afternoon. Only 2 and a half days, Tue and Wed were totally sunless here.

Last Sunday was excellent too from what I remember.

Those storms are guaranteed to reach Stourbridge because I'm not there! Very wet and windy with gales here in Devon though.

It is noticeable how storms seem to like travelling along the M5 corridor. Maybe it's luck though too.

Thick Fog has persisted all day here with bad visibility. Moderate rain started in the last hour with some heavy bursts. A max today currently running at Temp 11.8c.

t'storm rolling in here...

I was down Stratford way around 2pm, had a few very heavy downpours at the time and i'm sure i heard the odd clap or two :bomb::clapping::)

Great that tropical storm Henri has missed here, stayed miles to the SE, not my weather preference at all, least favourite

 

bbc has warning for tomorrow, hope Henri dosen't hit tomorrow

Looks like Home as well has enjoyed a sunny day like us in Devon this evening. Good in a way to see the South east endure a wet day for a change! Reminds us no one is immune in the UK from this type Of stuff.

yeah, not too bad, never as good as cornwall/devon, washout was modeled too far north and west

This Morning the BBC forecast said " heavy rain and parts may see up to 1" in an hour.... and not a drop!!! even red skies this evening looking north :)

It's been a dry day with little wind and some glancing sunny spells after the Fog lifted. A max of 15.8c.

Another Foggy start but its burning off fast and sinking into the valleys. A low of 5.4c, Currently 6.3c.
