Darn jinxed it, cloudzilla bubbled up and blocked the sun like it was Mid Summer today, despite blue sky all around clouds have lined up over the sun since 10:30 pffft

Beautiful day in Stourbridge! In fact the sun hasn't gone behind a cloud all day. Complete contrast to Telford as usual but I do class Telford as the NW Midlands and thus seems to suffer more of the cloud than elsewhere.

NW Midlands always worse, for cloud, rain, and lack of snow than the rest of Midlands, was decent today after 11am, but a lot of convective cloud

 

tomorrow a dry Sunday but rain knocking on door, hopefully arriving evening time, Monday wet for NW areas again

Gorgeous day today, we must have dodged the serious convection. nothing more than a few clouds, lots of sunshine & feeling warm. Best day in weeks!

A glorious sunny afternoon here yesterday, With clear skys/light winds and a max of 15.8c. Thick Fog formed overnight with a low of 4.1c.

Was fine here till lunchtime so a fair deal better than the NW Midlands as usual. Looks pretty poor tomorrow though.

Tomorrow is not a great day if you don't like rain but for most in the Westmidlands it should clear by lunchtime.

Oh as I 'speak' the rain has just started!

A fairly wet and foggy start here too with 2.6 mm of rain, the majority of it since midnight.

Current temp' is 10.5c with a 14 mph S/SW breeze and visibility of 100-150 mts; feeling very autumnal.

 

It looks as though the main area of rain should clear this area around 1.30 to 2.0 p.m.

Met office mentioning the risk of thunderstorms or thundery showers moving east tonight. Interesting but can't see much of a risk myself!

First slightest of ground frost 5c min,2010 was the last time there were ground frosts in September.

Definate ground frost around here...

 

Min of 2.2C at 7:05.

 

Now totally clear and sunny with the temp of 9.6C.
