iv got a funny feeling the West Midlands is going to get Thunderstorms.

It's the least you deserve considering that comically depressing accent those in Doodlay and Walsall possess.

Joke  :blink2:

Very odd, if you run the radar, you can see from around 10pm the same storm that is now near Basingstoke has moved due west, while most of the ppn around it is moving north...

Credit to the Met Office as I reckon they got this near spot on, people earlier scoffed at there forecast of scattered storms late evening but that is exactly what has happened, next time I'll never not get excited unless those guys are forecasting widespread severe weather

Noticeable increase in rainfall and thunder has increased to a rumble every couple of minutes.

I like the brummie accent. It's comprehensible compared to scouse or a drunk Glaswegian!

Hi folks...my phone mast ( and since I'm on a 4g dongle) my internet were interrupted by  - a lightning strike for a few hours, again. They flew in by helicopter to repair it! You've had some good activity over there - enjoy the rest!

Has anyone noticed how long that storm has been going in SE france, been electrified for hours and it hasn't moved much at all, must of been there since this afternoon

Its formed just to the East of Barcelona around 12pm and has been slowly moving east since then. Its been back building so the area has just seen storm after storm all day

Poor Bristol, come to pappa! :(

Bristol is becoming known for its storm shield unfortunately, I've already had 6 occurrences of thunder here in North Somerset yet Bristol has had something like 2 or 3? A whole area being given a severe weather warning however and only getting light/moderate rain is ridiculous.

I was hoping that cell in the Southampton area would trudge northwestwards before Christmas because I want to go to bed lol. Only had 1mm of rain here today.

Haha, what a fail of an event. May be some stuck slugs on our rapidly-drying patio soon if nothing turns up.

Ha, I expected someone to say that. Yeah, it isn't is it. But to a grockle like me it all sounds so similar.
