The storm has formed of the coast of Lancs and its heading for Blackpool, watch out guys who lives there.

A couple of distant flashes pretty much due West of here within the last 10 mins, and a long way away too as I waited for a minute but still couldn't hear the thunder. It's gone very windy too.

What are the chances of Bristol seeing the storms from the Weymouth lot? I thought they would head more of a slight NE than NW?

Cell popped up out of nowhere north of Brighton....building quickly.......going to be a few fun hours of radar watching!

Ok, elevated storms, do they produce CG or just IC,IC lightning?

 

mainly IC IC lightning but on the rare occasions they CG i think it's stronger

Storms ganging up and growing to the south of Dorset and heading north, these are currently the ones I am most interested in as they would hit Derby if they survived the 200 mile journey.
