ha ,ha it's comming your way :)...

Radar shows showers heading my way but no doubt they will be violent drizzle, but probably without the violent bit.

Well the rain returned about an hour ago, just as the sky was threatening to brighten up. The temperature has remained very constant at 14C also.

 

What a vile day for high summer...

Heading for 30mm here today, that's the wettest day in ages. Lots of that super-heavy special Manchester drizzle.

Wednesday will be a shocker here, constant rain, will feel icy may not get above 12C in gale force winds, could be my only washout of the year

of course the showers will merge into longer spells of rain to write the whole day off..... of course they will!

 

Edit: torrential downpour just now.. chilly feel as well, not very summery to say the least.

Edit: torrential downpour just now.. chilly feel as well, not very summery to say the least.

They certainly merged here, pretty well wet throughout the day although a glimmer of brightness at the moment.

At least we had a positive in that the temperature managed to reach double figures but at 12c, hardly even in a winter "mild" category.

I am sure there s a huge anvil over the River Mersey/Irish Sea area, I've not got a good view now as I am too near. Can anyone a bit further away see it
