I don't whether its a set sleep pattern with work or light mornings but I just can't have a lie in recently.

Up at 5.30 and with it being a decent, although coolish morning maybe it's an opportunity for a decent couple of hours walk.

Was nice and sunny at about 08:00 this morning. Now it has more or less completely clouded over, due to capped convection. It's still blustery too and 18C.

often happens here in summer, when 6-8am is the sunniest/least windy part of the day, can be the warmest feeling part as well

Hopefully tomorrow's rain will clear away relatively quickly in the morning to give a reasonably decent afternoon.

Yes, I find it relatively easy to get up at 6am for work during the week in the summer, especially with the sun blaring through the bedroom window.  Altogether different matter in the bleak midwinter though, when it's freezing cold, dark and you're warm and snug.

This summer is quickly going down the pan, very dissapointing.

Wet start to the day although things seem to be drying up a touch now so maybe something better as the day goes on.

Currently only 11c so certainly not feeling like a mid summer day.

I love it when the weather is forecasted to be cloudy and drizzly and it actually ends up dry and mostly sunny instead! Nearly 19C already here, with some decent sunny breaks! :)

It was windy again this evening. If spring and summer have been this windy, then Christ knows what autumn is going to be like!

Some rain ,wind some sun wind ,some cloud wind ,mild and windy ......

Not bad here, mainly cloudy, spots of rain at times although not enough to wet the ground and a maximum temperature of 18c.

Hardly what we'd hope for in July but could be worse.
