This summer is definately one of the worst ever imby.

its up there isnt it , with some other stinkers over the last decade,  ours summers seems to be getting more of these cool spells,  17c seems a normal temperature for midsummer now, 21c used to be consider just right, but that seems a heatwave now   but we kept getting told heatwaves will be a regular feature of our summers as climate change ramps up more,  that was 15 years ago,

I've had good sunny spells and a high of 23°C today, which has allowed me to do more work on the deck. Hopefully tomorrow will be the same. :)

not finnished the deck yet Scott ??.

We've not really had the weather in the last week to do it, but if all goes well, it should be finished and painted tomorrow.

After a cloudy start it didn't turn out that bad in the end although a couple of light showers have moved across during the last hour or so.

Just a shame that the heat down south hasn't reached our region although i suppose that's been the case throughout much of this summer.

It's still 20°C out there at the moment. A pleasantly mild/warm night is on the cards for tonight.

Third consecutive day here where we've had rain after the forecast called for a dry day.  Looking at the posts above, have to agree with the majority, a very poor summer up to now, can't wait for the kids to go back to school then we can get our usual month of dry sunny weather in september early october when everyone is back at work.

Would say roll on winter but then again :) ......

It's been a pleasant enough day today, though not quite as good as yesterday, with a varying cloud cover and a high of 21°C. Still it allowed us to get the deck finished and painted. :)

nice decking ! :good:  felt  more like summer over the past couple of days , although the sun has been limited, it feels a bit plume like, yet these maximum temps are actually only about normal, for early august, it just we have been used to the mid teens for so long,   i hope there is a another plume before the summer is over,  that short plume at the start of july contained all the thunder days we have had so far in 2015,   and they say plumes are no good for thunder here,  errr  yes they are    ,   bleedin north westerlies aren't .  thats why we have had a shortage of thunder days,    its been too much of a cool n/westerly

fest

Hopefully we'll get a few days to use it before autumn rolls in.

Another dreary summers day in a long line of them. Heavy rain early this morning cleared to a dank grey affair for much of the day with further pulses of shortlived heavy rain this evening. Not a jot of blue in the sky and max of about 16 degrees, preety poor standards for the time of year. Tomorrow looks an equally grey day but with general outbreaks of rain, the joy... however, much better prospects this weekend and possibly next week. It has felt like early autumn these past 10 days or so, like we have skipped 6 weeks and jumped into the second half of September.. not helped by very early dusks..
