Yes, noticed that here, had an east/west split above me, unsettled skies to my east/settled sunny weather to my west, high cloud moving NW, lower cloud moving SE

Quite an unusual set up today, not often a front makes it this far from the east depositing quite a bit of rain. We were just on the far western margins, but it rained constantly for a fair few hours and we have had drizzly stuff in the last hour or so as well. If this was mid winter it would have been a real surprise... rare synoptics.

It's been a day of deteriorating weather today. It started off quite warm and sunny, but has since clouded over and has now started piddling it down.

Reached 21c here as well but falling back slightly again now.

Muggy night coming up and hopefully some sun and warmth between the expected showers tomorrow although I can't say I'm a fan of humid conditions.

As for Saturday, the chance of more warm weather, just hope the rain stays away until overnight.

Obviously Sunday onwards doesn't matter to those jetting off across the Atlantic lol.

Just sums up how poor this summer has actually been for much of the country, certainly average at best away from the usual areas.

Quite a cloudy, muggy and sticky day today, with the odd glance of sunshine coming through. I like it. I'd rather it feel warm than feel all cold and miserable in August.
