Some good photos posted in this thread this morning, it was a cracker of a sunrise for the 3rd Monday in a row! Lovely frost which lingered until after 10.30 making me yearn for days of 'permafrost'. Would truly love today's conditions to be replicated for much of the winter as it's beautiful to be out in bright/hazy sunshine and calmness.

Well the cirrus clouds have gone and been replaced by grey muck but it was a nice morning.

Temp: 4.C

Also I saw two sundogs today ; a bright one on the right at around 9:00 and another one on the left , but not as bright at 10:00.

I'm sure this is a coincidence but today at roughly the time the sundog appeared I had a great time with a friend and then when it roughly disappeared they left.

Also the other time I saw a sundog this year was on Scilly on the most one of the most amazing walks of my life... Maybe they bring good luck :cc_confused:

Did any forecast predict a band of rain to develop through the morning and be sitting over the SE quadrant of the country early afternoon today?

I went out at 07.00 with the temp 9.8c, it's currently 7.4c so several degrees lower than first thing.

Hi Mapantz, good to see you again.  Your posts have been missed these last few months.  Hope all is well.

A nothing sort of day, certainly not felt as warm as the forecast would have us believe.

Nice to be back in good ol' blighty! I prefer our climate, I got bored of hot & dry after two days.

Cond: Sunny spells

Temp: 12.9°C

 Hum: 79%

 Bar: 1013.8 mb - Steady

I've just finished doing maintenance to my stations, cleaning, changing batteries etc..

I have just purchased the newly released wind gauge module for my Netatmo station - Ultrasonic sensors to measure speed and direction :ninja:

Fingers crossed that it arrives this week!
