I've spent the day near Salisbury and fully expected the overcast and slightly drizzly start to the day to continue throughout, however there were several hours of bright blue sky and sunshine this morning which made for a Springlike feel when outside.

I think it's definitely a 'thing' Mike! The type where you get soaked in 10 minutes.

Pretty much the same for the 4th day running here with Stratocumulus/drizzle alternating with bright sunny periods.

After a half decent morning with some hazy sunshine and blustery showers it's been a shocking afternoon with driving rain/drizzle and a very gusty Westerly.

In full bloom here.

Indeed and so few realise it, it seems. Can be as early as early November as this article states.
