Sitting in Marazion car park watching showers coming on across the bay. Came down to watch the sun set. Might be out of luck!;

I find showery conditions give rise to the 2nd best sunset colours after frontal cloud, hope you got lucky with the sun illuminating the shower clouds.

Day of 2 halves here, the morning was a write off with very heavy rain and a gusty wind while after midday it cleared into a sunny, cooler afternoon.

Anybody got any hail yet in these showers? Can see some moderate/heavy ones coming this way but the upper air looks too warm for hail...

I think there's an issue with the server, I cannot get in to my cpanel at the moment. I have sent them a mail regarding the issue, hopefully it'll pass,

Jachym doesn't charge a penny for it! Absurd considering the level of detail he has put in (Highcharts etc..) There's extra plugins available, and it's all totally customisable. I don't know if I should have it as my main page or not? Needed feedback to be fair.

Are you really still at 9C even now, it's a lot cooler here on the Heath.

Yeah - Stuck at at a tropical 9.5°C at the moment. It feels colder though, and no doubt, it will drop significantly if a shower passes over. :)

That was some heavy rain yesterday morning 17mm in total yetserday.
But it did stay dry for most of the afternoon, under very grey skies. It was a little colder too at 9-10c

A dec month of 13 - 16c and a few nights it dropped to 10c and plenty of strong winds.
My rain meter showed 39 mm for December 2015 and most of that was 9mm on the 30th and 6mm on the 31st.
Previous years; 2014 = 36.3, 2013 = 162.5, 2012 = 139.6, and 2011 68.3

Only cold blip recently being down to 4c on new years day.

A couple of heavy rain showers this morning, 3.4mm of rain, 9.8c but the blue sky is out now.

Shock horror, second day in a row that I've seen a cumulonimbus! There was a great display of them late yesterday afternoon to the northwest and again this morning. Hopefully a precursor of a convective spring and summer.

Also, it's 7C, which is not far off average so temperatures are heading in the right direction.

Now just need a frost lol!

Only a few brief showers overnight and today as those that have been affecting Devon/Somerset have continually died out as they travel ENE, something you would never know without the radar! Consequently some long sunny periods but also a lot of mid-low level cloud from those decayed showers.

Very very showery day today, though nothing too heavy as yet, there are and have been pretty nice cloud structures today, Wind is relatively calm too and it doesn't feel overly chilly either.
