Not many chippies then. Plan A al fresco, trust me. Fresh sea food en route?

I don't want fish and chips, looking for freshly caught, Cornish fish.

I'm as far inland as you can get and we've had sustained winds of 30 mph + for the last couple of hours. Mainly gusting high 40s but at least a couple of 50 +. Far windier than expected/ forecast. Still dry here though

Stronger winds than I expected too. We've been under yellow warnings for less..

Absolutely! Luckily all the garden furniture got put away when Barney visited and the bins are full, but yes wasn't expecting anything this noisy!

What a vile day it's been, makes me dream of warm summer days and long, light evenings.

I wish I could stream, but I only have 1Mbps upload speed, that's not quick enough to support users and myself on the internet at the same time.

I thought you had FTTC?

Torrential rain in the past 30 mins. Gales this morning have subsided but persistent heavy rain all day. River Axe flooding nr Whitford and the Coly is getting high too. Much surface water - be careful out.

No?

No fibre here yet. The most populated part of this town and all the surrounding villages have fibre, and we're not expected to get it until 2017.

PS: Fixed the refresh script. It should refresh the image without refreshing the whole page. :)

That's interesting. I live just outside a small village and we've had it since April. The priorities are a little odd.

Well, the rain came in a lot later than was forecasted here, but it has delivered! 19.1mm and it is still raining. It looks as there's a trough following on behind, in some cooler upper air, so some beefy shower later are a possibility.
