Blimin eck its pouring down here in Bristol looks like a rather damp commute home...........again!

Just been out to do the festive beer run and it's horrible out there.

After those crazy winds, it has turned pretty wet now. A tiddly squall line went over, dropping 3mm in 15mins or so. Up to 12.1mm for the day.

We have just got back from a great (free*) day at Longleat, taking in the safari, house and Chinese light display. A stunning sunny day until 3pm when it was abruptly interrupted by a downpour, however that was followed by a pretty sunset and glorious nearly full moon as we enjoyed the light display.

* = the perks of having a sister in law who works there!

At least yesterday was decent for sunshine/showers and today looks like brightening up.

Very heavy rain first thing this morning but quickly cleared with sunshine. Now some showerclouds around the temperature is falling away after an earlier high of 10.6C.

was 10C this morning at 5:45am when hubs went to get the rest of our Christmas food, been windy then it rained. A lot colder and it would been the white stuff, so as we didn't get any snow, treated Bubs to a 'snowman' picnic 'snowman cookies we baked this morning, snowman shaped crisps, snowman soup (hot choocy and snowman shaped marshmallows ) and her fave cheesy sandwiches, while watching the snowman on telly. 

Still got the wind so I couldn't do my fairy grotto surprise as it would of blown it  down so hopefully it won't cloud over to see santa past a bit later.

Got caught in a Hail shower earlier on the way home from work brilliant sunshine 10 minutes before and after, feeling cold now though
