Which storm is this mate - I am checking Raintoday but it's not updating - what direction is it headed?

Here's hoping!  Sky has gone dark to my south now - it looks like it's built back up again but who knows with these things until you are under them!

I seem to be on the border with the 50% lightning and Level 1 on Estofex but I am not holding out any hope.

hmmm not sure what to do, good storms just over an hours drive from here over the pennines,  should i go and chase , or stay put and wait here,  sods law will kick in and we will have thunder here if i travel away , were i could still miss them,

You would be an idiot to do that lol. If anything you want to go a few miles west and intercept that beast east of wales that's tracking north. Infact you might even get it in wigan!

What would be really awesome is any nearby cells still going after dark, and getting a medium/high based lightning display. Not as likely though as they're expected to die off during the next couple of hours (hope they keep going though!).

Not a great deal of lightening on this system moving into County Durham but some rumbles of thunder mixed in with the rain

Fun is over for us, no more cells to the South
