Back to the default dull weather... I was reading in yesterday's Times that November was the dullest on record (and considerably duller than the previous, 1962 - no other link made though ) I wasn't surprised.

Hopefully some sunshine tomorrow, before a tediously long stretch of cloud and very strong winds (nothing exceptional in terms of strength) for all of Saturday and into Sunday morning. Although I'm liking the reduced heating, I'd much rather this weather pattern went away now.

Well if we have to suffer this boring mild/warm weather id rather suffer it in Dark grey clouds then dark grey clouds with pouring rain.

Fed up with running & dog walking with bogged woodlands and fields.

BBC local weather has no appreciable rainfall until later Sunday. Thank god.

Not a great day, at least it was dry I guess.

BBC said it would be raining by now, but it's not...

very blowy outside now. The next 5 days look ridiculously mild with tomorrow being the coolest day at 10-13c. Lets hope for change but I am going to accept that the first third of December is going to be a train wreck with Bartlett/eurotrash set ups dominating. Well the only way is up for this winter.

right I promise to be more cheery tomorrow :)

Exceptionally heavy rain courtesy of a passing squall, just passed it woke me up and here I am it also packed some nasty gusts. If it was a substantial deal colder I'd be leaping with excitement alas it is of the watery variety the temperature is a staggering very mild 14c and it feels winter is ever so far away. Normality has resumed I'm glad to report.

Starry night and a lovely clear sky to start the day. After a couple of days with max & min stuck around 12C at least it got down to 5.8C overnight. More sun this last week than forecasters were suggesting - with my weather preference that's about the only good thing I can force myself say at the mo! :D

The rain about 1am was monsoon like!

Lovely morning here, sun all the way :yahoo:

The squall line passed me around 11:30pm last night. Would hardly call it monsoon like, just heavy rain for 15 minutes.

Beautiful sunny start here. Beats that wet grey mild muck.

Lovely clear blue skies this morning and a great day to go to the reindeer farm.

Certainly was here when it passed through so much so most the office were woken by it., was the topic of the morning chat before work started :) The noise on my conservatory roof was very very loud, doubt the neighbours were happy lol.

Now I have a feeling this time next week this play will have plenty of excitement going on.

It's quite warm in the sun, I have a sweatshirt on but don't need the jacket as I strolled to the shop, had to refrain myself from stopping for a pint at the pub before going back to work lol.

Hello all.

Back from summer hibernation!

Something of interest brewing from mid-month perhaps?

Again today actually hasn't been too bad, a lot of sunshine this morning though cloud has tended to thicken back up again.

Just hints perhaps that we could see a pattern change at the end of next week, but before then the same old mild or very mild conditions (Wednesday possibly being the only near average day as we get a clearer slot with cooler 850s).

Next Friday looking like the key moment perhaps...

Finally the Euro high is potentially being displaced a little bit.

Luckily there are other ways to make yourself feel more seasonal, up go the Christmas decorations tomorrow :good:

As for the weekend, we may just escape the worst of the winds tomorrow.

Modele GFS - Carte prévisions

50-60mph gusts over Norfolk and northern parts of Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, nothing of real note elsewhere.

Rainfall looks negligible

Modele GFS - Carte prévisions

Just a drab and rather windy weekend ahead, very droll if I say so myself.

Temperatures

Saturday

nmmuk-0-26-0.png?04-18

11-13C, maybe 14C in places

Sunday

nmmuk-0-49-0.png?04-18

12-15C

Temperatures will sit in double figures until Sunday evening when a weak cold front clears southeastwards.

The mildness quickly returns on Monday morning though.

Been another mild day but at least we saw a bit more sun today compared to the rest of the week. Shows how mild it is as grass still growing and bulbs have popped up over ;last 2 weeks. Looks like another mild week for SE although temps may drop a little as week progresses but still above average. Think week commencing 14th Dec may give us more seasonal temps although from my viewing of models can't see a cold spell showing up anytime soon :sorry:. Wind is really getting up again and gusts of 50mph forecast for tomorrow so stay safe everyone. Mind you they are going to really suffer in Northern England and Scotland with some substantial rain so we are the lucky ones down here !!
