ha ha ha ha ha nasty lovely same thing i guess it depends on ya weather preferences.... i defo have sleet falling here now its a fair bit earlier than i was expecting so hoping this is just a shower and not the main event starting 6 hours early coz if it is we are all buggered by the morning...

I'm afraid I've pretty much written off this winter IMBY. I'd much, much rather have days like the last two with sunshine and decent frosts (-4.3 °C last night) than three minutes of sleet. I'd still take a March 2013 of course, or even a nice little April snowfall like in 2008 -- but otherwise, bring on spring.

Hmmm last lamppost watch before bed and there's something. Very light and intermittent blowing on the breeze. Snow and not sleet maybe graupel? Weird but definitely not rain. They might just be my first flakes of Winter. Radar shows light ppn. Fingers crossed all!

its the worst start to the day.... think even my enthusiasm has all but drained away... 2 days with snow on the ground and 3 with snow falling at some point... im sure i had more than this during the shocker of 13/14....

Yep really struggling to get anything more than dustings here this winter.... Best was nearly an inch in november from what i can recollect.... Oh well roll on summer.... Hopefully a warm and dry and sunny one! Cant be any worse than last summer.....

im so sad... im actually stood staring out of my kitchen window look at my car windscreen to see the sleet splatting on it.... my lord im desperate... i think i need help..lol:fool:

Focus has now changed from snow to flooding, sooooo sad. Now that's  it, no more hopes for snow this winter.:sorry:
