Maybe people won't be so quick to ignore the mighty GEM after its upgrade. :)

I'll be ignoring it this afternoon, :hi:

Still several days away...but it's good to see the GFS 12z continue the trend and hopefully it will continue.

A relatively important ECM 12z coming up tonight perhaps? If it doesn't agree we are not much closer to knowing how this may eventually pan out.

GFS and UKMO at day 5, some subtle differences...!! Is the UKMO higher or lower than the GFS for verification, seem to remember somebody saying the UKMO wasn't far behind the ECM lately? For the sake of the flood victims I hope the GFS is onto something!

Let's just hope it doesn't beat 1993's (?) 916 mb. That was a monster!

GEFS will be interesting. Let's see if support has increased from the 06z set. GEM opp had dropped it for now but it's ensemble suite this morning was sniffing around the idea.

It's a high risk scenario as always, but if the Atlantic low is being overdone, maybe room for some upgrades.

GFS still on the sherry or sober and on to something? 12z GFS brings the beasterly forward by a few days compared to the 06z, the 06z ensembles did show a few members bringing it forward on that run too.

Battleground UK.

Stunning synoptics the good old GEM may have been onto something! This is not far from getting into a reliable timeframe, what exciting stuff.

A very nice GFS this evening following on from the 6z. Winter certainly looks to be on the way in one form or another.. I expect many changes as the models settle at this time-frame.
