Sunday and Monday looking like Sunshine and showers here and chilly. I don't trust the snow graphics on until at least Sunday morning maybe.

The most typical things about it here in Barbados Wirral, is that not only is there no chance of snow, but the chance of frost and ice is zero too, because the wind will be off the sea.

Flat as a pancake, virtually surrounded by bloody water, protected by welsh hills one way and pennines the other, close to a warm city centre, anything else I've missed? Apart from that conditions are great for snow :yahoo:

It's probably colder in Barbados!

It was certainly colder in Seville last night, where I returned from last week. Got down to 1C there, -2C in Cordoba and even -1C in mild Valencia.

At least it's not mild. Yet.

All we had was rain and lots of it, quite a few roads flooded around here.

Were is everyone, only four days to the next snowfest according

To the GFS  thats four days to enjoy the downgrades to isolated

Showers,on a serious note expected nothing here so was not

Dissapointed, but quite unreal that the higher ground only saw

A bit of sleet, starting to dry out now,but some how feels milder

Well in a league table of recent winter downgrades, that looks set for a champions league spot.

not even a flake of something looking remotely like snow, just rain rain and more damn rain.

went to bed last night with temperatures of 2.5c, got up to 3.5c, max today was 4.5c and now as the clearance came through its back down to 2c......to little and to late.

the only consolation is that I expected nowt and got nowt but if I can't get at least a bit of snow from such Synoptics at 1000ft all then it's certainly time to call it a day.

sod the latest tease from the models and roll on lighter nights and warmer conditions.

rant over....for now.

Sleet during the heavy precip in the morning and snow in the lighter stuff in the afternoon gave a dusting and a dusting in the morning to.  Not even close to a classic slush day.

Most of us dont live 400m above sea level though

Everything seems to be moving away from snow possibilities, the area of preciptation is moving through quicker. Timed to clear here through at 6pm. Ice could be the problem tomorrow morning rather than any snow.

Infact it cleared earlier, gone before 5pm and ice is a problem.

It is very frosty here and all the wet surfaces are turned to ice and maybe icicles.

Snow shower to the north of me. Unfortunately it never reached here.  Areas around Preston should able to get a dusting there.

Foggy here, taking its time to lift.  Key 103 said sunshine in Manchester city, so with any luck it will be here too soon.
