Dark skies to my North - must be the showers forming around Gloucester/Cheltenham. If these turn thundery I may get a brief glimpse if close enough. Right on the edge of the risk zone though.

Storm to the north me over central London, distant rumbles roughly every minute or so, though not as active as yesterdays storm that trundled north through south London with near constant thunder... Think it will miss me and pass west and I get some rainy dregs

Looking north to central London.

Brum and the Black country currently in the dry zone with cells forming all around  must be ready to take a hit at some point

The wavy line of convection is gradually fattening up... but has a weak spot across the Midlands....... Wonder if the 2 ends will join up?

Looks like some kind of shield above Birmingham :cc_confused:

Edit; checking the Nmm wind gust on theV7 radar looks to be some kind of convergence zone just to the West of us (slack water shall we say).... Bewdley way

Just had a nice storm here on the Southbank in London.  Can still hear it rumbling away in the distance.  Not as good as yesterday though!

Two storms have built up close to my location the first only produced two bits of thunder, the second about ten. They like to form here but not directly affect us.

Trouble is we seem to brew them in the West Mids then export them for other areas to enjoy .

Nice towers going up here to the north, but not quite doing anything as of yet. Some showers getting going NE of here though.

Latest radar update proving something's starting to kick off.
