Showers up north are killing themselves off (electrically) as they are just not moving. Bad for those underneath as there's bound to be local flooding, but lightning is struggling, flaring up, then dying as the storm's own down draught is cutting off its energy supply.

Not much electrical activity around which is strange to say how many torrential downpours there are around...

yep T & L not in the same as it was yesterday but the rain is very heavy in places

Obviously a lack of forcing here, clouds just keep going up and then disintegrating, maybe this evening might be better...

well that shower has been to my south now for almost 90 minutes and hasnt made much of a move to me and the T & L is not that evident at the moment if it changes cupboard on standby

Yep, I'm thinking that line will die off completely to be replaced with fresh cells popping up further S&W as CAPE and steering winds pull proceedings in that direction.

I really hope so. I forgot the energy transfers further west around 3-6pm. Might be the reason it's cloudier here.

In fact, there's a huge tower going up a lot closer to me to the east, so I think it's happening now.
