Not expecting anything here. However, hopefully we can see a few more periods like this in the coming couple of weeks (mobile period) for a couple of more chances.

That is the GFS PPN Chart,METO still have snow over Manchester at 0900,Not to say its wrong however but the last two events GFS has been miles of the pace Even at T0

And south of Burnley as well looking at that.

it certainly doesn’t fit with the Met amber warning area and BBC forecast which seem to give the heaviest snow across the South Pennines and Peak District.

something has to give and by daylight tomorrow we should know.

 Don’t know what you mean. I mean your temp is already almost good for snow and it’s only going one way.

Maybe it has a northern bias whereas ECM usually corrects South.

I wouldnt be suprised if the system tracks further south than GFS shows Crewe- i expect you to get a few cm :)
