Similar experience to @RebsAbbo on my lunchtime ride. Winds light Force 2-3 SE temperature 15c. Hazy sun with a veil of thin cloud. We did have a few spots of rain around 4.30 but it wasn't enough to wet the ground.

Very pleasant lunchtime ride, wind force 2 N, temperature 14c. Hazy sunshine. This is the first week for many months where wind hasn't been an issue. Some very light rain first thing when I went for my 6am walk.

A fine day after early mist. The one weekend when we could do with some wind, as its Bridlington kite festival. Guess what, so far very little although forecast to increase slightly through the day.

Third fine day in a row. winds have been mainly N and not at a level to cause annoyance on my daily bike ride. Temperatures pegged back by the onshore wind here. My wife was in York today and said it felt significantly warmer. At lunchtime we had 15c, N wind force 4, with very little cloud.

A glorious early summers day to day. Possible warmest or joint warmest day of the year so far. However 22.7C isn't a lot to sing about.

Nice sunny start though perhaps turning cloudy early afternoon and for most of the BH weekend. Hopefully overestimated by the models!

Warmest day of the year at 24.4C hopefully the cloud will be keep away for the next few days. Grass beginning to show brown patches which means less in the warm of cutting 🙂

Cloud returned a few hours ago here just like past few days. Cant see it being any better for rest of Bank Holiday. Very frustrating.

Much cooler today though okay when the sun briefly appeared. Next week should see cloud in the morning burning back into the afternoon. Hopefully quickly!

Cooler than yesterday, cloud has been persistent today, Lunchtime brought 13c and Force 3-4 NNE winds, with just a little brightness. The ground is now looking very dry as is the lawn. Will it be another of hosepipe bans?

Cloud took it's time to break up but now some sunny spells now. Cloud thick enough midday for a few spots of rain. Quite cold at one time now the sun boosting the temperatures.

Hasn't broken up at the coast at all today, at one point it looked like it might but now it's back to that all over featureless grey.

Only around 13c in Bridlington today which always seems to happen in a north easterly wind in late spring , more particularly under cloudy skies.

Very poor really given we are almost into the start of June. Meanwhile places in the Lake District are enjoying unbroken sunshine and 21-23c today.

God give me strength 🙏🏻

Horrible forecast for rest of the week. Would rather have rain and sun from the Atlantic rather than this horrible set up.

Cloud of the north sea can mess up any month regardless of the season. At the moment we seem to be in a  rut with the high staying to the north north west of the UK for a while could well be into June before it decides to get lost.
