Have to say I always feel jealous when others are getting snow. We seem to have to do with a few showers off the Irish Sea giving 1-2 cm.

You're 5mins up the road from me (Walton le Dale)

It's done nothing but rain here now for nearly 2 days straight. Everywhere is absolutely sodden

Sleety mix now falling...but as expected now the transition from rain to sleet/snow is starting to take place the precipitation is turning lighter.  We should have 2hrs of heavy snow according to met's app...mmm...not sure about that.

Yeah frontal intensity, daytime warming are factors against us not that I thought there was much potential right down here but I thought Windermere may have a better chance though.

The uppers are forecast to get a little colder as the day goes on but wrong time of day really, factors against us. Still I would not give up fully in your location and you just never know.

Yes since last post it has turned to a sleety snow and is just now starting to stick, so we may have a decent cover in next hour or two provided we maintain same intensity, it is still quite borderline but now more hopeful. Great watching all surfaces turn from grey to white...

Good too hear, you deserve some after not having the best of luck so far.

Hopefully we can see some signs of wintry ness down here soon, sounds like i better prey for some ice pellets and i might get my wish...

Just started to give a covering on the grass, not sticking anywhere else yet, but has picked up pace now, just need those flakes to increase in size.
