This is interesting. Shows you what freezing rain can do. Imagine if we had something like this again.

Latest ICON then Tuesday morning.

Wirral/Liverpool/Cheshire.

Rain to rain event.

The rest - Snow.

If Tues fails I think I'll give up - it's too exhausting. A 5 year wait followed by a 3 year wait, which could turn into another 5 year wait at this rate.

Just waiting on the GFS correcting north again...

The rain/snow boundary is too close for comfort. The boundary line is pretty much there for 6 hrs. Would love to be further North and East higher up.

Tuesday won’t fail I’m pretty sure we will get 5 cm plus another cm of ice pellets before it all melts. That will do me. When has snow ever stayed around longer than a day since 2010 anyway except the beast and that was just cotton wool.

GFS did correct southwards but only marginally and what you expect from run to run.

I'm sure we will see a little bit of frontal snow but it could be one of those you go to bed with snow falling and waking up to no evidence of snow falling and nobody will believe you it snowed.

ECM was a huge dissapointment for me, the shape of the low was just all wrong.

Hi all, been a long time since I posted on net-w, but was exchanging views here 10 yrs ago in the amazing 2010-11 winter when the Fylde got covered truly, madly and deeply! Since then been on and off but so many weather disappointments from being in the NW and near the coast made me hang back! I've enjoyed reading everyone's posts here and finally thought I'd put an oar in. Feel hopeful for Tuesday - even here on the Fylde we might get a few flakes. Hoping the rain/snow boundary line is well away from all north west folks! Apologies for the extended 'hi'!

Is the GFS suddenly realising it can't just blast North East.

BBC weather mentioned a “significant” system moving in on Tuesday moving northwards.Had it pushing right into Scotland. No doubt southward corrections will follow as they catch up.

I’m hoping to in the future but the humidity sensor is currently not working so I thought it better to not include them at the moment as they are incorrect.

Is very difficult to set it up? I know cumulus software had a setting for Twitter but then I think was taken off. Thanks @Chris.R?
