Even if Tuesday is rubbish , at least there are further opportunities appearing in the medium range.

This could give a few flakes in the east of the region at least.

Yes it's still marching North East.

The metoffice expect it to fizzle out over Wales and actually state that the North and East of Wales will be mainly dry. Looks like that's out the window already...

They have certainly struggled with their snow forecasts this Winter.

06z (Yes)

Mental upgrade for weekend if the Easterly has any legs to get over the Pennines.

It's supposed to fizzle out over Wales according to the forecast, but the radar shows the front way more than advanced than some models for this time. Who knows...

Looks like it’s nearly up to West Kirby. Have a feeling that the leading edge will be virga like last week though.

It’s just about cold enough but not for long. Not windy today though so evaporative cooling will be a factor if precip makes it. DP is below 0

yeah they look good but I Imagine the Mad thread can be pretty much summed up in the two short phrases.

“Channel Low anyone” and “SE to get buried”

I’ll keep away from it until this evenings charts show a downgrade or push it back until March.

At least today’s front is finding a different way to not affect most of the region with a more SW to NE alignment this time      so a chance of coastal and more western parts seeing something falling before it hits the block and starts to pull back again.

the same block that Tuesdays system will have no problem at all pushing past on its was to Lapland whilst we sit on the milder side

Snow 'should' turn back to rain from the south, lack of confidence there.

Right, time to get off here for a bit. Laters.
