I thought I saw a few flakes here but it turned out to be bits of stuff blowing about from someone burning rubbish in their garden.

radar is showing something around here but no signs of anything actually falling.

One of my favourite places in the world. Wish I was there. Used to go 3–4 times a year to the Ffestiniog.

Me too, I used to go with my parents every year when I was a kid. It's the ffestiniog webcam I was keeping an eye on. It is showing snow falling in Tan-y-Bwlch now and in Porthmadog which is obviously right on the coast. Light though.

Wind has picked up again... was cold and calm earlier... managed to get some gardening in this morning... nice with snowdrops and bulbs popping out everywhere once I’d cleared around with leaf blower...

I have added a wind direction description to the automatic tweets. Humidity is still reading 25% too high so still not including it or derived measurements for now.

Pretty accurate showing the hole in the ppn over Preston. What normally happens with an e/se.  I'd expect the met rainfall estimates to be changed over the next 36 hrs as well. For here at least.

Manchester airport 36cm
(Consett country Durham 103cm )

It might be right but most of it will melt before getting to the ground.

Just been for a long walk with family and decided to cut from Dinting station to the back of Glossopdale school via the new steps. It didn't go well. I slipped and fell in the mud and ended up with half a dozen thorns from a bramble bush in my right hand.

So much for exercise.
