Countrywide yellow warning 2 days in advance is very unlike Met Eireann. I can only see this upgrading. Named as storm Agnes. Isobars look very tight.

The consistent rain looks set to continue all week now. Some poor people have been obliterated. A time for some Autumnal high pressure would be most welcome. A few crispy dry days to dry everything out!

Possible big storm mid week, right over us.

Maybe sub 950mb!

Watching this for a few days. Some of the outputs talking about 160kph/100mph winds. That's red level warning stuff.

Looks like the worst of the wind will be South of Ireland,  however, the rain looks relentless.

I heard the 's' word so I have returned. Getting to that time of year again already.

I decided to dip my toes into the madness thread, haven't a scoobie what's going on. As usual a certain regional bias is the only show in town 🙄

Things do look messy for the start of December, I do see some of our local members commenting on the MOD thread, hopefully they can enlighten us in here with their thoughts

And just like that Model Discussion has turned to the southern discussion happens every single year without fail unbelievable and the mods seem to highly support it to.

Always the same Boofer.

Personally,  I've learned to ignore it.

Not surprising as that’s where more people live. I just filter what’s relevant to here and what’s not. Some excellent posters who manage to talk about everywhere like for example Cambrian.       “Ignore” the most annoying ones!

Wouldn't mind a bit of snow but looks Ireland will miss out this week.

Still, the PV looks understrength and signs of more blocking mid December maybe.

Best I can see is Carlow and Armagh for Friday 03:00 am some wet snow and or snow. Have to try hard to see it but even very low probabilities might mean a surprise for someone, this is from the ECM site
