Good Evening all,

Its feeling positively tropical outside at the moment despite the dampness and wind.

Morning All, a classic January Morning, or is it Classic November, oh who knows these days...anyway wet and blustery, with temperatures almost straight lined through the night with a low of 9.6°C at: 07:04 reaching the high of 9.8°C  currently..RH94 % wind gusting 35mph from the SW..

It good to see consistency in the MOD forum today as everybody grabs a chart @240hrs, as is so often the case it never materialises, finally people are beginning to consider this is yet another year full of missed promises...me I'll take the occasional storm along with some nice misty/frosty mornings..certainly looks wet in the next few hours

I completely agree close but no cigar for this year just a few weeks of cold greyness.

Damp and breezy but the temperature is actually going down after a high of 11C overnight.

10.2°C damp and windy.

I'm not sure why there's a yellow warning out for here?  There's likely to have been more rain in the period leading up to the warning, than there will be during it. It's hardly been that wet either, just bits & pieces here and there.

Wind strength is less than yesterday, nowhere near the forecast speeds.

Great looking squall line sweeping across this evening, currently lined up from Buckfastleigh-Cardiff.

10 - 4 Rubber Duck...

Looks like we've got ourselves a squall line.

Absolutely wild at the moment, also accompanied by a serious temperature gradient. Very impressive.

Torrential gusty rain here and still 9.4C but falling as sleet not far west. That temp is going to nosedive soon!

Absolutely horrendous conditions out there right now. Wouldn’t be surprised if we see reports of flash flooding in parts of the region.

Immense 5 minutes and dare I say potentially tornadic, the wind switched right round* as the worst rain passed over then switched back again.

*There was a sudden burst of rain and wind onto the previously dry front windows.
