Hi Fromey,

I had to just go and jump in the car and climb Cleyhill after I saw those in case any more formed so that I could be closer.
when I looked back towards your way I could see a very angry looking bass cloud.

When I reached CleyHill there were two more attempts but the energy was just not there for them to form properly.

first two photos are of the attempts the third photo is the dark cloud-based looking back towards your way in Frome.

fourth photo looking towards angry clouds over Warminster as well.

lastly , thought I would add in  a really friendly horse at the bottom of the track too

Morning All, an overcast start with a sub 10°C overnight with 9.2°C at: 03:52, currently 14.9°C

The beachcam this morning shows the status quite well this morning with HMS Severn anchored in case of trouble in the Square tonight!

Walked past that cam at about 9:30am, on the way to Bournemouth. It was quite bright around that time.

Did you wave and take a selfie as a lot of people do?

Some welcomed rain as I've been out sorting out one of the beds in the garden..

Norra lot of rain 0.8mm but it's welcomed after turfing the soil over...the flowers & shrubs will appreciate it..currently 14.0°C ..

After a sunny start, it clouded over quickly through the morning and it’s been a miserable afternoon.

A sunny morning with no cloud and a gentle breeze

Send it this way please!!

If ever I needed a fine morning to get out and work it’s today. Must be some flash flooding in some parts of Dorset.

Yes, I've noticed the torrential downpours in your area.

Morning All, it's one of those "Nah" mornings...the dogs looked at the pouring rain and said "Nah, we are NOT going out in that!"...it was pouring though as the radar shot shows we are right under the heaviest patch...nice..

Major flooding around here. 70mm and counting. It has been unbelievably relentless. The warning hasn't even started yet
