Afternoon,

Long time since posting , hope all are well. What a cracking day for autumn little frost this morning, calm and sunshine was lovely and warm whilst doing bits in the garden and putting garden furniture away. Can just to start to feel the chill a little.

Lovely afternoon in the sunshine, been for a walk (pushing my mother in a wheelchair) along Lowestoft sea front, sat and had a cuppa, sun on my back was quite warm, only a slight breeze. Autumn can stay like this please, frosty mornings and lots of sun during the day.

Temps dropped quickly this evening, could be a hard frost tonight.

Had 2 lovely mostly sunny days in a row for November so far where I am. Felt very nice in the sunshine even in my shorts!

No mist or fog this morning but frost on the lawn and windscreen needed a quick scrape.  Overnight minimum of 2.8c at 06:30 and 07:00.  By 7.30 it had reached 3.2c and reached a max here of 12.7c at 14:28.  Currently 3c with 93% humidity.

It's been a beautiful sunny day, some lovely cloudscapes but couldn't take photos as driving a lot between three site meetings.  

Wind speed 0mph so expecting another frost and local council are running a full gritting service at 11pm.  Hot water bottle night tonight!

Pressure: 1004.4hPa steady having risen steadily from 996.6 at midnight.  Apparently 0.4mm of rain fell at 16:30 today, although I was back at my home office and it was sunny and dry.  Around then I'd taken a wander around the garden, cup of tea in hand, for a look at what needs tidying up this weekend and it definitely wasn't raining. 

Today's weather highlight; sunny, crisp (humidity 71% and mid 60's between 1 and 3:30pm when I was out and about), barely any wind making it pleasant in the sun.  A perfect autumnal day.

Decent hard frost this morning, cars will want a good scrape this morning, but the sun is now out, hopefully another day like yesterday   Temp currently 2c

I love that don't you ,clear all night here  ,but there always bouncy clouds to my south south east in distance over channel

Foggy now in SW19. Temp 1.6c. A tad nippy.

Rather chilly start as most have noted. Was lovely about an hour ago in the sun.  Cloud has now rolled in and looks like it's here to stay. Current high of 8c.

Well got coastal showers streaming in ,shame upper air temp is 8c to high ,dew point has gone north and ground temp is about same 8c to high and it isn't January ,plus sea temps are a tad high ,otherwise we would have snow ..:-)

Ps that's lying snow ,knock a couple Celsius off for falling snow  ,and  of course elevation ,snow lovers best friend ,but still ,we got the showers ,be a long slog I think

It is chucking it down, on the plus side the temp has risen to 9c, but no chance of a frost tonight.

Evening all, just settling down to watch the mighty reds, all nice and toasty in my flat, after a simply glorious day. Is TomSe12 still here, although i've not posted much, I do pop in regularly. Take care all, footy is just starting

Which reds, Liverpool or someone else? 

Also yes TomSE12 is still here but I don't think he comes here till snow is within a reliable timeframe.

Chance of a few flashes and rumbles tonight for the coastal areas! Showers will intensify further with the falling temperatures over land, relatively warm water and cold temps aloft.

A frosty, slightly misty start to the day, overnight low was 0.8c.  A nice early dog walk just as it was getting light and the frost covered farm tracks and fields became visible.  Noticed some interesting frost patterns on conservatory roof on our return at 7am.  Early sun gave way to cloud and rain this afternoon, disappointing after yesterday's perfect weather day. 

Temp currently 6c, humidity at 89%, Wind between 0 and 4mph.  Pressure: 1009.7hPa slowly rising.
