Well west midlanders, im glad most of us have seen some decent falling snow. Long may it last and for those of you to not see any yet, hope this afternoon brings some opportunities!

Probably the most snow I've seen since 2018 now.

Still too light to make any impression, melting as it settles. Looks like the rain shadow effect of the peaks taking over, as so often in the past.

About 5cm here, snowing steadily. Really hoping it remains as snow all day but forecast predicts it turning to rain this afternoon, which will sure make it a mess outside.

A good 15cm or more in Church Stretton this morning.  I went out about 9pm last night to fetch my daughter from a remote workplace and there was a reasonable accumulation then, and its been snowing again since about 6am.  I was overseas during the 2018 snowfall so this is the most I've seen since December 2017.

There is a strange pattern ive just realized, we seem to get significant cold and snow in March every 5 years. 2013, 2018 and now this year.

50p flakes here which means the atmosphere is warming. That's fine. Most of the precip is moving awsy now. 1C max so should keep things from melting too quick.

Woke up this morning to about 5cm added overnight 🤣 and chucking it down with Snow again! I'm expecting it to turn to rain later this afternoon, but it's been a good event, this.
