Blustery Showers - Northamptonshire, UK - 6 February 2022

Cold wind this afternoon 

sharp hail shower approx 3.45 this afternoon left a good covering 

wind really whipped up 

seems to be clear now and wind eased slightly last hour

Spoke to soon wind whipped up again with another hail shower …

Had some strong gusts of wind today in the showers topping out at 50mph just after 6 this evening

must have been too much cloud cover

yep , just reached here now, just got back home from a 2.5h walk, started to spit with rain as I was taking off my boots haha.

great timing, just wish it had been colder and it would of been all snow.

Thank God it isn't as long as he's number one that went and on and on week after week

Potential weather coming up towards the end of working week   this season as been so lacking in anything remotely interesting is nice to keep a watchful ewye on something.   Blizzarrds  or rain and very windy weather take your pick

Oh how badly I want the ICON to be right. A great snow event instead of the boring nuisance strong winds we’re far more likely to get stuck with.

Genuinely a bit worried for Friday.... a day for staying indoors.

ICON is like a dog with a bone with the more southerly track and greater snow risk. Shame it’ll be wrong.

Very interesting weather coming up for us fellow midlanders! Friday looks, let's say active! Looking forward to the model roller coaster but in any case... Be prepared and stay safe
