Most models have shown a risk. Depends on the exact track of the low with light winds to the north of its centre and on whether precipitation will be heavy enough for sufficient evaporative cooling to allow snow to fall to modest levels.

This is not representative of everywhere in Midlands. 

Doris, Ciara remain those which stand out to me in recent years.

Heavy snow showers here since 1900. A good covering of around 2cm by the look of it, though I haven't been out to measure it.
