Has it peaked yet for the West Midlands, if so then its not been too bad so far.

A very disappointing event, I was hoping for 70mph+ gusts with the chance to experience a sting jet.

Still not as crushing as if it had been a snow event

Storm Eunuch wasn’t much to write home about but the drop in temp is pretty awesome, three degrees in just over an hour.

Wind now WNW.

That low crossing the country on Saturday looks interesting. Light winds to the north could allow enough evaporative cooling for rain to turn to snow. The GFS and UKMO both show exactly that across the North Midlands.

Automated forecasts are now picking up on this.

Not much in the way of rain here but the wind is very strong and with some huge gusts, have seen some minor damage from my window (small branches down and a shed roof covering blown off). Can see big trees further up the Malvern hills and more exposed are still intact, at least where I am.

Still breezy here, gusting up to 30kts but temperature still dropping , five degrees now from the height of the storm.

Looking at the radar there may be the odd snow shower in the next hour or two.

A great event for me! was wanting to miss out, been lucky, as for this location I have known much windier/wetter days

often the wettest/windiest days here are days with no 'named' storm, with a NW'ly with constant heavy showers from the Cheshire Gap
