Huge cumulonimbus cell to my NNW. Really solid cauliflower head.

The west and southern skies look very solid.

That’ll be the storm that passed by here, tell you it’s done some talking!

What a storm. First a cell passed  just to my West with some very loud CGs then after that another cell past overhead with one CG at 600 m which sounded like a positive one. moved on now. Any more?

Bit cruel this everything to my south east <direction of weather> is being killed off but just west of mcr they are popping up out of nothing.  Oh well you win some you lose some.

Seems to be moving away now. Not a bad storm, closest strikes were around 2 miles away with the brunt passing 3 to 4 miles to my East. In many respects this provided a good vantage point for viewing. Plenty of bolts across the sky seen with one cloud to ground strike.

Have to say that was one of the better storms lightning activity wise. Seemed to peak just a few miles SE of here. It was almost a continuous boom of thunder at one point.

Dark clouds, slipped through the gap been so unlucky with these storms had a couple of showers and that's it, enjoy who ever is seeing them - one day I might see one haha, going to Italy Friday and there is a decent chance I may see one.

Not a rumble, not a quick flash, not even a spit of rain yet. 0 out of 3 is bad.

I'm well pleased for those having a taste of it though.

Drove home from Stoke to Crewe through this amazing storm.

Started with deep black clouds and as I got closer to Crewe it was a sheet of white cloud with intense lightning and hail. Roads started to quickly slow down and flood in places and it was difficult to see at times.

Absolutely loved it

That's the one. Moving away from Crewe to the N/NE but lovely whilst it lasted!
