Fingers crossed it’s making a beeline for Beachy Head!

I'm at devil's dyke and it's definitely looking more likely us Sussex lot could see something. Seeing pretty prolific lightning from this one up here!

Does the guy who lived in/near Bedford who could see the south coast still visit the forums?

No, I think his hot air balloon finally deflated

It’s producing beautiful lightning, the kind you would never see in daylight.

Some of the flashes are extending a long way from the cells shown on radar. The anvil must be covering a wide area.

Rash of cells developing S of Poole/Bournemouth, let's hope a few of these electrify. Would make sense given being in a slightly higher region of instability.

It feels stormy outhere, not sure if we will get any but I have been looking for soem distant lightning but the cloud cover is too low to see anything.

Should probs go to sleep given I have a driving lesson 7:30am, though forecast suggests storms around then which should make a fun drive

I wonder if that’s why the radar looks like there’s a huge out spill of drizzle north of the storms.

I reckon this is going to be the one to watch for many people tonight, moving at a decent pace. Not sure if its getting bigger?
