Indoor Temperature Thread

Met.

Recommended Posts

30+ I'll try to express just how warm it is:

Firstly, if you plan on playing any videogames that are high resource usage- I highly recommend you refrain from doing this.
Secondly, if you plan on doing anything that creates additional heat like a lamp or fan... Try not to use it for too long during the day.

Downstairs - 26
Upstairs - 30+
Attic - 35+
Outside - 30+

It's truly unforgiving...

A cooler evening, still 20.5 outside but feels more pleasant than recent nights. Whilst we will see a downturn in maxes, humidity back on the rise this weekend along with muggy nights.

Felt like bumping up this thread seeing as we are going through a hot spell and possibly the best one of the year.

Currently I have an indoor temp of 25.1°C and 65% humidity. So a little on the oppresive side but not drastically so.

During sunrise last day or 2 it's been about 21-22c downstairs west facing room, by sunset that rises to about 24C.

Upstairs in my bedroom one of the warmest rooms, north facing, got down to 23C but it's now just above 25C.

Usually if it's around 25C or below I can sleep fine. It was about 30C upstairs during July 2022 that's when it was too much for me, still far away from that tonight.

26.2°C tonight, similar to last night but feels warmer with the higher humidity and the fact it's still 21°C outside at this time of night

23°C in my computer room. It really doesn't get warm/hot in here thankfully.

30c in my south facing bedroom. I'm dying.

Sleep in the garden! 😉

I'm thankful to have a north facing bedroom, albeit a fan is definitely required still!

The chickens would wake me up and other wildlife. I sleep sooo lightly.

Chickens and wildlife would bother me less than heat!
