...and no, it should not be rebuilt.

This is probably the wake up call that needs to be listened to. Some areas should not be rebuilt at all, some could be rebuilt, but with concrete structures on legs to withstand storm surge damage. This could happen again in 50 years, or next week. Chances are sooner rather than later now.

I was thinking it shouldn't be rebuilt too. Shocking!

Record low temperatures thanks to a hurricane... Right who had that on the 2022 🤯 weather stats bingo card 😄

It's always the case with hurricanes like this one. Another aftermath is that the sea temperature dropped around 10c which is quite impressive.

I'm certain Max has the full video. I haven't seen him commenting about the resident(s) of the house. This probably means that the outcome wasn't good and out of respect he decided not to say anuthing

Max has confirmed he has found out the family managed to escape and are all alive.

Another supposedly degree educated meteorologist attempting to stand up on a highway, hoping nobody will drive down it and 1, ruin his broadcast, band 2, not knock him over r make him run for pavement/sidewalk making him look stoopid.

Anyway, it's all over now bar the rainfall

You can appreciate just how dangerous it is to be in water in a hurricane by taking a close look at the Dominator's bodywork in those pictures- where it's been submerged, it's covered in hundreds of dents.

Actually, you are incorrect completely on that one...😄

Reed is famous for punching into hail cores in his chase vehicle, going through many windscreens every season. He has managed to keep Dominator 4 stuck together for one last season although having to rent several times as repairs carried out. I think Reed knew this was probably the last chase.

This tweet was just before the trip to Florida...

How did he get out?/Where did he go?

He tends to hurricane chase with ChrisFLTornado and his white truck survived, being closer to the building they sheltered in.
